I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, where I developed a strong passion for weightlifting, snowboarding, and music. During my time in college, where I pursued a degree in Exercise Science, I began working as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach under the guidance of a physical therapist. Through this experience, I had the privilege of working with athletes across various levels, including high school, collegiate, and Olympic athletes. I am particularly passionate about helping weight training athletes safely return to their sport after injury, with a focus on expediting recovery, minimizing downtime, and reducing the risk of future injuries.
In 2015, I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego, California. I have a strong background in manual therapy and movement analysis, which has been integral to my clinical approach. During the 2015-2016 academic year, I had the opportunity to serve as an adjunct professor in the biomechanics department, specializing in gait analysis, and participated in the cadaver lab for gross anatomy dissection.
In 2016, I relocated to Seattle, where I continued my work with athletic populations in both wellness clinic and corporate settings.
